The National Peace Corps Association (NPCA) offers local NGOs access to short-term technical expertise from volunteer corporate consultants through the Cultural Agility Leadership Lab (CALL) program, implemented in partnership with Northeastern University.

Below are some of our future program ​requests for assistance.  Priority is given to NGOs aligned with Peace Corps programs or those founded or supported by Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (PCVs).

NGO request from Nicaragua


This NGO Partner Organization was founded in 2000 and is made ​​up of 24 partners from the public and private sector, associations of farmers and forestry, universities, NGOs, professional associations of science and agronomy .


  • Strengthen the capacities of the organization to allow for better national and international positioning. This will help the organization maintain its technical and financial sustainability.
  • Help define strategies to strengthen the brand of our institution to attract new donors, local partners and alliances in the management of resources and businesses.
  • Management support in analyzing the impact and profitability of different rural initiatives developed through projects and business. Includes a SWOT analysis to concentrate on institutional actions and identify areas that can put institutional sustainability at risk.
  • Strengthening institutional and technical capacities of the organization around financial management and business planning. Also identifying new projects, services and strategic partnerships to develop.


Ideally the pro bono consultants would be able to focus on strengthening institutional financial management and business planning, help define actions to create an institutional brand, and create a plan for attracting new partners and alliances for projects, services or business.

CALL — Cultural Agility Leadership Lab — is a partnership between the National Peace Corps Association and Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business that infuses international corporate volunteer and pro bono advisor programs with the deep cross-cultural understanding and flexibility for which Peace Corps Volunteers have long been known.
