The National Peace Corps Association (NPCA) offers local NGOs access to short-term technical expertise from volunteer corporate consultants through the Cultural Agility Leadership Lab (CALL) program, implemented in partnership with Northeastern University.

Below are some of our future program ​requests for assistance.  Priority is given to NGOs aligned with Peace Corps programs or those founded or supported by Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (PCVs).

NGO request from Chile

Mission:

​The organization provides support for children and adolescents at risk.  
 

Assistance:

  • Partnerships - Considering expanded partnerships within Chile and with other organizations internationally.

  • Marketing & Communications - Overall strategic planning and support, and potential translation of website to connect with new partners.

  • Strategy - Exploring new ways to increase security for children and adolescents and empower youth to help us improve our programs.

Background:

They have a text and free telephone line for children and adolescents to have confidential, free, friendly calls with psychologists who listen, guide, inform and serve them. They are the only organization in Chile who provides this telephone service to children and adolescents. They have lawyers and social workers on staff as well.

CALL — Cultural Agility Leadership Lab — is a partnership between the National Peace Corps Association and Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business that infuses international corporate volunteer and pro bono advisor programs with the deep cross-cultural understanding and flexibility for which Peace Corps Volunteers have long been known.
